Our Story
The Aged Merchant is derived from the love of vintage, thrifting and sourcing unusual items that promote nostalgia and whimsy.
We aim to create warm spaces that offer lots of curiosity, laughter, and comfort - enticing you to linger and explore or just chill out on a sofa with a good book.
Our founder has lived all over the country yet calls New England home. She has nearly 40 years of retail experience across every spectrum and her greatest joy comes from product selection and merchandising.
It’s these experiences that make The Aged Merchant especially unique.
We hope you’ll come check us out. You may not want to leave.
Our Commitment to Quality
We take great pride in our product selection and only source from the most reputable suppliers. While we aim to be locally and domestically sourced, there are some things that come from overseas.
Please know all pieces are special - some are gently loved, some are spankin' new.
There may be 1, there may be 6 - so if you see something, we advise against feeling like ya shoulda bought it when ya saw it.
